Knowledge Dock

Welcome to the Centre for Development Partnerships Knowledge Dock which provides a one-stop shop for gathering and disseminating development information.

The Knowledge Dock provides accurate and relevant information on tools for effective resource mobilization, management and evaluation, with a special focus on local resources, as an effective tool for mobilizing external resources. The Centre is accessible to Funders, Donors, Corporate entities, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs), Community Based Organisations (CBOs) in Ghana and the rest of the world.

It provides for proper data collection, documentation of processes, paying attention to detail, electronic archiving and storage of information for ease of reference, and dissemination of lessons learned, success stories, adapted to the needs of the user.

The Centre also provides the following specific services on contractual/fee basis:

• (A) Monitoring and Evaluation of Projects in line with proposals submitted and approved to ensure that implementing agencies deliver on schedule. The system is designed to identify lapses and make recommendations for interventions to remedy situations while keeping the project on course at every stage.
• (B) Electronic Resource and Information Centre:
• Stores information on the community of Development Consultants, CSOs, NGOs, CBOs and their success stories or otherwise on previous projects.
• Keeps an up- to- date database of all Funders, Donors including Bi laterals and Corporate Organisations, and projects supported, previously, currently and in the future. This provides a platform that encourages the formation of strategic partnerships to prevent duplication of effort and in some cases reinventing the wheel.
