Our Mission

Our mission is to ensure that communities acquire the skills to mobilise resources, the knowledge to manage it, the ability to grow it, and apply these resources to socially useful outcomes.

Our Vision

Our vision is to ensure that local resources and partnerships between private, public and the non-profit sector are at the heart of development practise in Ghana and West Africa.

The Centre for Development Partnerships (CDP) is the result of 10 years of action research, of learning and of working with key partners to reduce poverty and its effects amongst vulnerable local communities.

Those ten years deepened our understanding of the new development paradigm, renewed our faith in our local partners and, provided us with a new insight on development strategies.

Ten years ago, it was Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) West Africa. Today, it is the Centre for Development Partnerships.

The Centre for Development Partnerships (CDP) is a Ghanaian NGO committed to providing long term development support to Donors, CSOs, NGOs, CBOs and community groups in Ghana and West Africa.

CDP provides bespoke services to development partners. We achieve this through:

• Assisting NGOs to make the most of their resources by building their capacity to undertake community development and empowerment projects.
• Assisting donors to make the most of their giving through grant-making, donation management and advisory services.
